Admissions

Nestled in the heart of Hythe, just a stone’s throw from the coastline, Hythe Bay offers a vibrant and nurturing environment where children are truly inspired to learn and flourish. One of our standout features is our renowned Beach School programme, where pupils regularly take learning outdoors, exploring science, geography, and art along the beautiful local beach. This unique experience not only develops a lifelong love of learning but also encourages teamwork, resilience, and curiosity.

Creativity is at the core of everything we do. Our engaging curriculum is designed to spark imagination and foster a passion for discovery. From inspiring art projects to innovative science investigations, children are encouraged to think independently and develop their talents across all subjects.

We pride ourselves on the exceptional support we provide for every child. Our dedicated staff ensure that each pupil feels valued, safe, and confident, tailoring learning to individual needs. We work closely with families to nurture children’s wellbeing and academic progress, ensuring that everyone thrives.

To support busy families, we offer a popular Breakfast Club and an After School Club, providing a safe, friendly environment before and after the school day. Plus, there’s something for everyone after school, with a range of sports clubs running every day of the week.

At Hythe Bay, your child will be part of a caring community where they are encouraged to dream big, achieve their best, and enjoy every step of their learning journey.

Additional information on registering your child

Here at Hythe Bay we understand how important it is for you to choose the right school for your child and we are dedicated to making that as easy as possible for you in these trying times.

All Kent primary school admission applications must be completed by 15th January 2026, so it’s a good idea to do your research and make your meeting with us or viewing as soon as possible.

We want you to get to know us before your apply for a Reception place for your child and find that parents often make their decision after a meeting with us.

If you wish to contact the school for an ‘In Year’ application for an older child to join the school at any time, then please call or email the school office staff as soon as possible to arrange a meeting to discuss this time to suit you.

If you need to arrange a phone call for a reception place because of your work hours, (even a tour at a different time to what's on offer), please do not hesitate to call the school office to see if we can accommodate you on: 01303 267802
