Our Faith and Values

Hythe Bay’s distinctive Christian Values are based on Bible stories, they shine through every aspect of school life- our ethos, atmosphere and how we treat people.

Compassion
The Parable of the Good Samaritan

In this story we learn about a Father’s love for his son, even though the son has made some bad choices

In this story we see Jesus is tolerant to a man that no else likes at all. Jesus’ friendship helps Zacchaeus made good changes in his life.

It is important we learn to forgive, holding onto anger and resentment is a recipe for anxiety in adults and children. Learning to let go may take time, but the important lesson  is to keep trying.

Compassion is about feeling  kindness, empathy and a sense of responsibility towards others.  It is whenyou really are about someone and want to help them.
