Community Group

Tuesdays - 9.00am until 10.30am

We are helping our community, to raise awareness of the environment, to help others who are less able to help themselves.

We have become a part of the Postcards of Kindness; letters and cards have been sent to the local nursing homes. And they love them!

We have a food donation bank, a clothes donation bank and a swap shop. Thank you for all your kind donations.

Thank you all for your crisp packets; we have donated a whole box of folded packets for the Air Ambulance appeal. Keep them coming!

WANTED!! We would like to tidy up the garden outside of the Family room and the Training room and put flowers in the various pots around the school. And we’d like your help please! Do you have any spare plants or seeds we can add? Can you help with weeding, planting or digging over? Let us show the children what pleasure they can get from the garden, let us enjoy being outside and seeing plants grow and save the bees and butterflies. And if it’s bad weather we’ll stay inside and chat and drink tea!

Please join our group to help others, to help yourself and to give something back. All welcome.

Time for you

Thursdays 9.00am – 11.30am

Would you like to have a couple of hours to yourself? Come along to our group and enjoy a cuppa, chat and an activity of your choice from sewing, knitting, decoupage or something new!! We’ve mastered the art of making a bag and one of our members has learnt how to knit. Just £1 a week to cover refreshments and any material we may need. Unfortunately, due to safety issues we are unable to invite children to join us at this group.
